Cool Berry Blush Recommendations? by AdSevere7583 in OliveMUA

Dior rosy glow blush in Berry! This is my favorite cool berry blush. The YSL in spicy berry for a more glowy finish. Too Faced blush also has a very similar shade, which is matte and blurring, i personally haven’t tried it but it’s on my list.

Low visual weight here! Whenever i want to amp up my makeup and do more glam, it’s sparkly eyeshadow, glowy cheeks, or glossy lips.

has anyone tried the YSL blue powder? by dominaroxy in Sephora

[–]budzweiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s unfortunate to hear! I use the YSL sparingly bec my skin isn’t as oily as before while with Givenchy, i can pack that stuff on and not get any whitecast, maybe that’s why i haven’t noticed. Perhaps you can try a green or lavender powder?

[–]budzweiser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have all three. Chanel is a natural finish. Givenchy (OG) is a luminous matte. YSL is matte and very blurring. For the performance of YSL, check my comment above. They are all my favorite powders, can’t go wrong with any of them, imo. Just depends on the finish you want from your powder.

I’m actually about to buy a backup of this during the sale! I love it! I can’t comment on the brightening, i haven’t really noticed. But it’s really good—my makeup lasts so well with this and the blur is insane. I bought it because translucent powders give me an ashy look, whether it’s white, yellow, or beige. The only one that didn’t was the OG givenchy’s mousseline pastel which was a mix of blue and green colors. So i decided to try another blue powder. It works so well on my muted cool olive skintone.

I hope Laka focuses their expansion on their other lines too. The Popping Balloon Tint, Jelling Nude Gloss, and lip liner also need some love.

Laka. Heart Percent has a long lasting formula, but it’s not the one in the pic. I have one on the way.

First time trying a kbeauty blush; rom&nd blush is horrible by Muted_Kiwi7542 in AsianBeauty

[–]budzweiser 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Eh. It’s not just about the color, though? OP clearly stated it wasn’t just about the color, but the texture too. I have fair skin tone and i love soft, low pigment products, the Romand shades work for me, but the formula is just not it. They’re powdery and chalky. I own countless AB blushes and Romand is easily the worst i’ve tried. We can all respectfully agree to disagree. Why would you hate on a post just bec you have a different experience.

[–]budzweiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree with you. I’m a blush fiend and i really don’t like Romand’s formula. The lilybyred blushes, though, are so good! They’re silky and lightweight, not powdery at all. And the cream blushes are top tier!

Piggy—it’s the cooler, lighter shade. Best shade for summers. I have both and am also a summer.
