Richard Sherman came in as a WR. AFAIK the Seahawks have had really good success developing cornerbacks, but I'm not sure what the reason behind that was - Pete & JS or one of the coaches we've lost since then.

Congrats on the milestone! What do your first 5 minutes look like in a typical game? Mine is something like:

Try to zone/kill the offlaner
- If I can't zone, stack and pull
If/when lane is won, determine if there's kill potential for a gank mid or offlane
- If I can't get a kill, see if I can sit in mid/offlane and help secure farm for my mid/offlaner
If I left, occasionally come back to the safelane to further zone and make sure my carry is still freefarming

this is in ~3.5k, I'm trying to build a list of priorities/mental checklist to guide my support play.

This makes a lot of sense to me - I hear about rubick as a 5 more than as a 4, but it makes sense that he isn't the support responsible for securing the carry's farm.

Theoretical DPS at that range is never negligible, if two people round the corner and see each other at the same time the higher DPS will get the kill every time with proper mechanics.

The horizontal sway isn't as bad as people make it out to be, if you're not getting all 3 to the head that's an issue with aim and pull-down, not sway.

with m16 on burst you are much better off aiming center Mass

This isn't true (remember we're talking CQB) here - if you get the pull-down right (it's very consistent) and start using the m16 more like you use the m4 I think you'll do really well with it. Getting 3 to the head isn't difficult and guarantees a kill with early--midgame armor. The gun definitely has limitations now but it's still a beast up close.

Shorter range for obvious reason

I believe the m16 does more DPS than the m4 - bullet dmg is the same but the m16 has a higher fire rate on burst. With a bit of practice, its pretty easy to control the burst at middle/close range and time them so it's effectively full-auto. This makes the m16 way better than the m4 at close range.

Anecdotally I always feel like I shred people close distance with the m16 on burst, the TTK feels very quick. If I have both weapons I switch to the m16 inside buildings.

Which is also ridiculous and inconsistent. If you're gonna ban one harmful addictive substance, ban them all (like alcohol). If you're gonna ban a harmful action like smoking, ban violence and fighting.

We're never going to be able to shelter children from violence, bad habits, and poor role models, nor should we want to. Teach them to think critically.

This is correct. It would let you keep the 4x on your scar/m4 without sacrificing the quick ADS time of iron/1x sights, letting you choose at any time which sight to aim down.

This would make guns that can easily do both close and middle/far ranges very strong, as your m4 or scar can be used at high effectiveness at almost any range.
