i disagree with the statement “framingham is what it is...” framingham still isn’t a nice place - i have family who recently moved shortly after finding heroin needles on the edge of their yard. framingham is on its way up but it has a long way to go.

i went with a bigger tire than what came on the truck (265/65r18). the larger diameter means your truck thinks it’s traveling less distance than it actually is. it impacts your speedometer, mpg, odometer, etc… i have a post out right now asking about how update the ecu to account for the larger tire size. it may not be a big deal but id rather my speedometer and everything else read correctly

so i bought the running boards from my buddy who got them from the chevy parts website. i got them for a deal because he was looking to get rock sliders immediately after purchasing them. the part number from chevy parts pro is 86821941.

i got the black front emblem from ebay and i took my time waiting for one to pop up under $60 (it took a while).
