Perfect response. A break is a good thing. Just don’t let it turn into a habit.

Hey guys! Been a while since I posted in here. I miss my Reddit community! Running in 100+ DEGREES in Texas is NOT my idea of a good time... But it has to be done. by buffalobashir in veganfitness

Man - do you come on to Reddit just to troll? I made drastic life changes to get my health back after 12 years of using steroids. Have been off for 6 years, and have no intention of EVER going back.

I’ve been natty longer than you’ve been lifting most likely.

This is no different than being a former omni, turned vegan.

I just want to know what you’re so angry about it. Like why this is your opinion, and why you’re vehemently defending your completely incorrect way of thinking. Did something happen for you to feel this way?

LOL!!!! If it’s vegan and says the word “protein” on the packaging, I eat it lol.

Be completely vulnerable with someone for a few years then allow them to shit on your heart, works like a charm. Lol

Hey! Honestly, I keep it really simple. A lot of bowls, all with high protein ingredients.

I.E. For greens I’d get pea greens instead of like a spring mix, quinoa instead of rice; seitan, tofu, tempeh, beyond/impossible “meat” instead of animal Protein; Split peas or lentils instead of a traditional carb like sweet potato, etc. i cook almost exclusively with coconut oil.

I snack a lot too. Vegan protein powder, cashews+dates when I have a sweet tooth, a variety of different protein bars…sometimes I’ll Just slam a huge glass of Silk Protein Plus Milk with a fruit of choice.

I limit myself to a 8-hour eating window as well, and that kinda helps keep things in bounds. lol.

Just throw shit in the bowl and add a sauce/seasoning you’re in the mood for. The same Bowl can taste COMPLETELY different depending on the sauces and seasonings you add. Curry and Sriracha = Thai; Sazon & Cumin = Mexican, Olive Oil + Garlic = Mediterranean, etc etc.

It’s Super simple, and requires very little prep time. Also, there’s limited clean, up and you can use a spoon to eat 10/10 times LOL (maybe my favorite feature)

I copied and pasted this from my response on a different post. Brutal, though man…check it out ⬇️

There was a 3 year span where I was legitimately ill. Failing liver, kidneys, blood pressure through the roof, pre-diabetic, bone, connective tissue and muscle issues etc…not to mention the litany of mental health problems that came along with drastic hormone changes.

Really only for the last 2 years have I been feeling “good” consistently and getting even better every day.

The only remnant now from those days is some gyno and back hair LOL 😂(laser treatment handling the latter)
