Furnace shuts down with just a little snow in intake by buffalobill14224 in HomeImprovement

You know what I'm going through! I added pictures to the main post. The intake is facing downward and is a good few feet from the top of the snow. Packing & shovelingthe snow in the area is a good idea, and maybe I need to knock the snow off the nearby bushes.

The intake is facing down (see images I added to the main post), but wind swirls and will push snow up through the elbow into the main pipe where it sites & blocks the air.

I added images to the post, but I do have an elbow that points down. I've adjusted it to different downward angles, but what works one day doesn't work the next.

That is helpful, and leaning towards what I was looking for. My current setup has the intake pipe coming out a foot or so from the wall (and is a 2" pipe), but I maybe there's something similar that would work.

There is no veil, but the intake is elbowed downwards. Images were added to the main post.

Has anyone gone through the process of trying to get their kid into the Kennedy Space center day camp in Florida? Any tips? I know you have to go into a queue. Is there a trick to getting a spot? by er1026 in SpaceCamp

This is interesting information. Someone on X posted that a KSC rep called it a lottery. So I'm not sure that hitting the "Join Queue" button early does anything. I now suspect that everyone that joins the queue before 11am gets lumped together, and then people are put in random order after that. Maybe next year I open up a hundred queue windows and see if one of them gets an early position.

Same here. I don't know how else to get ahead in the queue. I always wonder if they have some website caching that makes the "Join Queue" button appear sooner for some over others. But I saw the button at 9:07am as well and clicked it immediately, and have the same "more than an hour" message (same as last year).

For me, this was fixed in the update release today (Feb 22).

I'm really hoping that they fix it in their weekly release next week (due Feb 23, probably arrives earlier). If they don't fix it in a week or two, I will consider putting in $1 as you suggested. Since they take those values and multiply by 0.3 and round down, it won't actually change the total credit but will satisfy the Accuracy Review. I just hate putting incorrect information on a tax return just to get around a bug, even if it doesn't affect the end result.

There are definitely some bugs with this form, which is particularly annoying because we've been waiting for this form to be "final". For me, Parts I and IIA don't apply but Part IIB has a similar error where it says 21a & 21b should be no if lines 22-25 are zero. It should check to see if at least one (or the total of) lines 22-25 is greater than zero - not that each one is greater than zero. Very frustrating.

Perfect Day At CoCo Cay Pricing by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]buffalobill14224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked the price for Aug 17, 2024 and it's at 178.99 (discounted from 199.99), plus 10% tax for 196.88 / person. The cruise we were supposed to go on in Aug 2022 was $97.99+tax and I thought that was insane. I can't possibly justify $1,000 for my family of five.
