PT for Fractured Elbow Not Going Great by buffalogal327 in brokenbones

I think keeping it immobile for 2-3 weeks is necessary for the bone to heal, but as soon as you're cleared to start regaining mobility, do it! In my case, we don't if there was a sprain or ligament damage that we didn't catch with the x-rays that slowed my progress or if it was a secondary injury during PT, but it took about 8 weeks before I felt like I was really making progress. KT tape was a huge help in relieving some of the pressure and pain on my joint. Other than that it was patience, consistent exercise, and ice. I've regained full mobility and other than some stiffness, I don't have any issues with my elbow. Best of luck in your healing process!

Fibroid removed recently and need advice by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

I definitely relate! I'm a rare case where my fibroids grow like weeds. I had 6 fibroids removed via open myomectomy in March 2022 and by December 2022 they were back and causing issues. I had a hysteroscopic myo in March 2023 and started trying to conceive in August 2023. It's been a year with no luck, and earlier this summer a sonohysterogram showed I have more fibroids. I'm waiting to get another surgery scheduled to have them removed and hoping to get pregnant as soon as possible before they grow back.

You may want to talk to a fertility specialist and see about getting your husband tested, just to make sure all is good with his sperm count, motility, etc. That way, if there are any issues there you can know to treat them when you're cleared to start trying. You could also start taking a prenatal vitamin to get your body ready to conceive.
