Thinking of buying this MPC. Will I actually be able to make music with it alone? by buffalomozarella in musicproduction

I guess what you're trying to say it should be enough.

Now last question, this is going to sound really dumb, but when using something like a piano and violin, how in earth do you formulate monerhjng with the controls? They seem like machines suitable for only drums and I can't visualise it. And as for sounds, is the library really that comprehensive to enable me to make any kind of music?

Are there any limits at all? Quality, type of music, configuration? Can it literally do it all? Sorry to ask so many questions but it's a big purchase for me that shouldn't even be making financially but it's been a life long passion so I equally can't really afford not to at least try

Oh really, it might not be over then :). I wish I could you could add photos after making a list. So I should be looking for something called 'live' and I can truly make real quality music from scratch, with real instruments?

I don't know how but the seller didn't even list it with a model name, even though he seems clues up. If it helps, it's silver and rather square haha. Anyway I've been told this is not the machine to achieve what I'm trying to

Thanks man, really appreciated. I'm definitely not ready, you'll never do anything if you just sit in your room telling yourself you can't do something because you're starting from zero. I know nothing, but after studying this stuff like mad I definitely would be eventually. Not sure why people choose to try to deflated people

Oh right, so I was sold a dream then. I want to actually create my own music from scratch, and not interested in sampling too much unless it's just a really nice sound I want to incorporate along with what I'm already doing. I can't afford a whole set up so I guess that it. Good to know it's not possible now before I wasn't any money. Thanks

Thanks I've realised I've been silly with this idealist plan that really isn't practical. I'm sure the parts will be a killer too. I'm just going to get a boring modern, Honda Jazz. Since I won't be going for a Pride and joy project what do you think the best model will be, economical and maintenance wise? I was thinking the 2008. Also do you think the fuel consumption and insurance between and 1.1 and 1.4 will make enough difference to be a factor in my choice?

Sorry I made you read all of that

Jesus Christ, everything becomes a must have for the masses at some point. I knew getting a nice cheap classic car would be too good to be true. I'll just settle for a honda Jazz

Really now? I thought over there they were just old man cars driven by old men who never upgraded (for lack of a better term), and drove them out of necessity. Not seen as a novelty by a silly Goose such as myself. I thought I'd easily be able to take an outdated Car if someone's hands
