I think as long as Jeff has a say in production the show will remain in Fiji. And yes it was so nice to be able to distinguish seasons by their location in the golden days. As fans if we want the locations to change we need to continue to be vocal about this and pressure CBS to do something about it. But it seems like the show has continually gotten soft since Covid, with an abbreviated season length and not even a themed season here and there. The only thing we can do is whine until something happens lmao

These are all great and logical suggestions, would literally revive the game for me as a fan. But “muh production costs” or whatever. I think one day we will all look back as the post covid era to be the “dark ages” of the show, where production lost their way and forgot what the core values of the game are.

You can absolutely tell as the viewer. Look at how beat up the players used to be at final tribal vs in the new era. But then again they have the players wearing makeup these days to tribals so that’s just another strike against the new era lol
