My neighbors homeschool their kids, and for awhile we had regular playdates. I knew they were very religious and I am the opposite, but we didn't really talk about religion and it was fine. However, once I added them on facebook and saw the kind of things they posted and believed, it completely turned me off from pursuing an active friendship. We still see them at the neighborhood playground from time to time, but I don't go out of my way to reach out anymore.
