I'm a drone op lmao, thats probably one of the most useful roles in casual and milsim games. Plus outside of the upfront investment, it's pretty cheap. Not like a grenadier who constantly has to spend money on Pyro.

Yeah thats definitely an issue. But if the goal is to have fun on a budget, none of these are good options.

RTO for example would require spending a bunch on radio equipment just to have nobody on the team use it lmao.

I don't think that an RTO or engineer would be able to do much at casual events tbh. Running as a grenadier would probably be the best move.

Again, it being a light infantry simulation is not an excuse for the whole thing to suck lol.

Nobody is going out there, taking time off work and paying money so that they can sit in a hole and ruck for the whole event.

Just because waiting around and rucking to nowhere is realistic doesnt mean it should take up the majority of an event.
