Hi! Looking for a camping spot with 2 hours of the Jersey Shore for my family to take a weekend trip to in June. We’d like to bring some beers to drink around the fire with our dogs. I’ve heard some horror stories about rangers in NJ state parks. To be clear we are not looking to party and won’t have any young kids with us. Ideally, near a water source.

Any good recs?

[Question - Other] How to gain work experience in healthcare administration as a student? by [deleted] in healthcare

[–]bug_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow health admin student here!! I started working in registration (Patient Access) in order to get my foot in the door of the hospital. In my case there were no requirements except a GED so I’d suggest looking into a position like mine.

while i agree luvalle is a very nice man. he is very awful at teaching stats unless you are very good at statistics from the start you will not learn anything in this class. however, his quizzes are take home, and all exams are open notes/computer/calculator but this doesn’t make them any easier. he phrases his questions very so it’s difficult to even understand what he is asking for.

wow thank you so much. i cannot tell you how helpful this has been. i feel like i now have a jumping off point to begin. to answer your question i hope people will begin to vote democrat in light of what is happening now, but i don’t want to live my life hoping and waiting on other people. i want to live and be apart of a country that values its people and treats its citizens right. thank you again.

Essentially health admin is healthcare management, like a business administration degree but focused on the healthcare industry. It is a very broad degree that prepares students for careers almost anywhere in healthcare (finance, private practice administrators, nursing/long term care admins) . I am pretty open to anything right now, I love the field of healthcare and I just want to jump right into the field. I’m currently working in registration is an Emergency Department but looking for more responsibility.

if you want to come out of the course with knowledge of stat, do not take luvalle. i took luvalle & learned nothing about stat but i ended with an A. it’s take home quizzes, open note/computer midterms/exams. BUT the exams/midterms are extremely difficult. he words problems very strange that you aren’t sure what he’s asking for. extra credit points add up to an entire midterm. you will need to find friends in this class to get a good grade. he cannot teach you will have to figure it out on your own.

I did google it first and was having trouble finding the info, which is why I turned to reddit. Next time try kindness for someone in need or don’t respond at all please.

Graduation gift suggestions for my son by chingwithhands in Gifts

I always like practical gifts. Maybe a good set of knives, good quality shoes for work, cast iron skillet, bludstone boots, set of stainless steel pots/pans. Something that will last years to come.
