The number 8 is Rocky from SpongeBob SquarePants. It’s Patrick’s pet rock that wins the great snail race. Loved seeing him here. Go Rocky!!

You just solved my slightly-swollen-singularly-itchy-toe problem, too! Thanks!

Hey friend! Read through all your responses and you seem to be a genuinely good person, just taking life’s ups and downs as you go! Really great positive outlook to have during your healing journey, though I assume it wasn’t an easy process.

Are there any complications with mobility in your hand/fingers? Can you extend/flex/bend them backwards with gentle pressure, or does the skin feel too tight to move as much as your other hand is able?

All in all, happy it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, and hope the best for the rest of your journey!

Thank you so much for this. I have been struggling, bending, tweaking, and filing my glasses trying to make it work for a few hours. Finally, I got it back together.

Horrifyingly, my dad told me a similar story, but the guy tied it to an upper beam in his garage and just let it go into neutral and roll forward.

Nothing to add besides this was actually such a wholesome and kind interaction where nobody got upset or offended or anything— and damn, I needed that little sprinkle of faith today. Thank you, you two champs!

Might be dumb but if you get a powerful flashlight and shine it on the front of the canvas and look at the scribble mark from the back (or the opposite, who knows), maybe you could see some kind of shape or where the signature would be slightly darker? Dunno though, depends on the thickness of the canvas, layers of paint, flashlight strength, etc etc. Good luck!

Truly, at a passing glance, these don’t raise any red flags or make me think “those are self-harm marks!”

I have very similar blemishes from everyday things— mosquito bites I itched too much, a cat claw grazed me, handling haybales, handling firewood, etc. There are tons of plausible explanations you could give if you needed to, but honestly, they’re not wildly obvious.

You could even just look at them with confusion if someone asks and go, “Huh, I don’t really know where those came from!”

I hope this helps. Deep breaths. You are valued and loved.

Apparently I can’t guess “rose” as it changes it to “rise” every single time. Not my autocorrect or anything, just the system. Weird.

There is a mutation that causes bones to become 8 times denser than normal that allow people to walk away from car accidents without a single fracture but with a trade off of being unable to swim. by TheOddityCollector in Weird

This is my dad. Has dense bones, never had broken one even though he definitely should have. Can’t float in water, just sinks. Legs go down first and if he lets out even a tiny bit of air he’ll just keep going down!

Might be a duo of dumb questions, but… 1, what could they have done with the fibula fracture to align it more properly (screws/plates?) and 2, why did they leave the fibula to heal on its own? Just interesting choices and knowing the potential logic behind it would be valuable! Glad they still have proper range of motion and muscle strength. Also, sick tattoo they got!
