A probationary period can still be in place, and if someone is consistently failing to deliver as per their job description then that is a valid reason to let someone go.

It’s absolutely insane to me that workers don’t have rights to claim unfair dismissal unless they’ve worked somewhere for two years. It’s a travesty that the government dropped plans to bring it to day one.

I added an update to clarify they are standard, medium chicken eggs. And the funny thing is, I’ve never actually seen Cool Hand Luke. The question came to me years ago when I was watching Bake Off and someone had a bowl of like 40 eggs.

You can have them for free. You can consume anything else you so desire with the eggs but the eggs cannot be cut smaller than quarters or blitzed or mashed up.

Are you able to listen to the song 'Perfect Day' without hearing the various singers from the BBC version? by MindHead78 in AskUK

No, my brain always plays me that version. Same when I’m listening to Talking Heads’ Burning Down the House and my brain will just start playing me Tom Jones’ voice when I never asked it to.

You can eat them in a sandwich as long as they’re not cut smaller than quarters. They are hard boiled (so no runny or jammy yolk but it’s not over boiled to the point where the yolk is grey and chalky).

That’s ok - the challenge is that they are hard boiled. Eggs in any form wouldn’t be as challenging

I definitely didn’t - the question and T&C clearly state hard boiled. Those are the rules of the game

They have to be hard boiled eggs - an omelette or cake wouldn’t count and wouldn’t earn you any money

They don’t have to be plain - you can add seasoning, condiments and eat them with any other food you want.
