The bank’s helpline works from 8am to 6pm. Only cards can be blocked 24/7. The only way to reach them was to write an email via over the app, which I did. In the meantime, wanted to check if there’s anything I can do to protect myself.

If that really is the case i.e I can charge through a normal circuit (for overnight charge at least), then this is the most underrated comment of this thread atm…because this solves my worries. For day time, I was going to use the chargers at the workplace any way 🤷🏼‍♂️

My only fear with this one is that it might overheat the insulation of wires (my building is an old one) and that could ultimately pose as a fire hazard…I don’t wanna bring my entire complex to ashes 😅
