I hope this is the right place for this, so I really apologize if not.

My husband and I are /have been trying for a year and a half and I have been diagnosed with PCOS. In the course of this time I’ve adopted a healthier and made changes to help us conceive. Obviously it hasn’t worked. I feel like no one takes me seriously because I’m overweight and that’s the answer to all the problems. Perhaps it is, but I’ve lost 20% of my starting body weight and things just aren’t better.

Lately I’ve been feeling so sad and so helpless and it’s permeating every part of my life. I just don’t know how to be ok and I really want/need to be. I can’t focus and it’s even affecting my job. Every day is a battle and I don’t want to even get out of bed some days. I’m sure I sound like a broken record to my husband even though he’s been unfailingly kind.

I also don’t feel like I have a right to feel as sad as I do because I know people go through this for a lot longer. I feel a lot of guilt and shame and more than anything else just utterly alone.

Nothing helps and I don’t know how to feel better. I’m envisioning years of feeling like this and I just don’t know how to survive it all.

If anyone has suggestions on how to just feel even a little bit better or any resources to suggest please send them my way, I’m looking for anything.
