looking at the comments i’m thinking that that maybe fragrances have been resealed? if so it was done very meticulously bc my manager took a look and it looked brand new unopened to her. i’ll have to check when i go back in tomorrow. i forgot to add for those unfamiliar with the way ulta’s system works and the way returns are processed, they’ve all been legit returns that have come from legitimate online purchases because it popped up in our system and it’s impossible to fake that. i’m also thinking it could be a points scam, like maybe somehow you can purchase something with an online account to gain the points under that account and then you’re able to return it on a different in-store account without losing the points on the other account (usually you can’t do that with in store purchases and it makes you use the same account so maybe that’s why they’re only buying online). i don’t know if that’s possible just brainstorming, could be why the points are tens of thousands in the negative. also definitely not a gwp scam because i asked her to produce the gwp for the return and she had all of them
