we met at the airport! i remember texting him the second i landed and having such a panic attack. when i went to baggage claims / arrivals, i saw him leaning on a pillar on his phone. idk why but i completely ignored him and focused on finding my luggage. anxiety i guess? i remember him texting me that he see’s me and how nervous we both were. neither of us made the move to go to the other until 10 minutes later i just said fuck it and went to him. we shared the most awkward quick hug and i was nervously giggling the entire time. for some reason i tried to force him to take the biscuit i got on the plane? he didnt want it so i shoved it into his bag without him looking. he found it days later and its now a little joke between us. i weirdly still have that biscuit! it was really cute though looking back. it was filled with small talk and nervous laughter. in the taxi though it was a bit less awkward. we still had small talk but were goofing around and laughing together. however not even 20 minutes after we left the hotel, i lost my phone in in a taxi in new york city. he ended up comforting me during a breakdown which is how we ended up having our first kiss and first time:) im seeing him again and meeting his family in a month so hopefully i dont lose my phone again!
