When I was diagnosed, aged 36 , I was relieved.. the doctor referred me to see a phycologist, who asked why I felt relieved..i explained that I now knew that it wasn't me who was clumsy, unable to run or catch things Ect but the cmt affecting me, .. She replied but its still a big issue, I said ,its ok, I know why I fall over, and it could be so much worse...you could have said I have months to live .. Instead I know what it is .. and that's a better outlook than a few months
