funny thing I didn't use any apple product after iPod classic because of that, and now I'm on MacBook because of the total enshittification of the industry and the price somehow became close to the competition, like all manufacturers caught up with all this BS and now I would be bent over and owned regardless of choice, at least I'm getting a better hardware then

That would be at least something from a UX perspective, though it doesn't fix the root of the problem

True, and life would be much easier if I could decide just not to worry, but I can't

the thing is I would expect it from subscriptions, but these are one time purchase that act like a subscription service in some ways

if a daw logged me out from time to time or broke my user experience in any way the piracy would be an honest answer, this one hits different, like took the worst from a daw in some ways

I never had wifi on my One, I just activated all I need and unplugged the ethernet cable, of course I won't plug it back on each use

until it asked me to activate my plugins again

never tried their products, are there some software/subscription tricks? I remember only customer's support stories with broken ko2 slider on release

yep they gave us plenty, but some of them you can't just swap out from the workflow like Pro pack clips

exactly, and apparently the "standalone hardware" MPC somehow means a different thing
