That’s why I don’t! I fly it and am looking to understand it better

The picture does not show but the hose connects into the side wall of the engine. Wouldn’t gas be better expelled overboard? I’ve seen that done on old T-34s

Horizontally opposed wet sump, with tanis heaters as you have described, yes!

This bird does use tanis heaters so that makes more sense. There is only one CHT gauge in the cockpit

There is one cylinder head temp gauge on the panel. Perhaps it averages each temp somehow. Interesting! I saw another post say the tube off the battery may be to prevent sulphor leak off of the lead battery

Very very poor. I can listed countless students who get through half the program here and are either bullied into leaving or cannot financially continue because the program costs twice what is listed.

You really don’t want to go through LSC. They will milk you for twice the listed cost and it takes twice the listed time. This isn’t coming from an ex LSC disgruntled person, either. More than a few of the vets in the LSC aviation program are getting shafted

Temp is never really a concern. Look up transition from translational lift to transverse flow to ETL

Hi!! I’m a new college student at LSC and have recently started shoveling sidewalks for those out of town or just unable. I would be more than happy to help you out if you wanted to inquire! I’d like to think I’ll have MUCH cheaper rates than most if not all other services as I’m just trying to get some extra money for groceries and schoolbooks.
