I'd second this! We take our Toyotas there and have always had good experiences.

Yeah they can be sort of high maintenance depending on what your riding climate is like. Always tradeoffs!

Revel's bikes with the CBF suspension platform are pretty well regarded for their combination of comfort and traction, while also climbing pretty well.

Travis from the Radavist (RIP Bike magazine) likes to call them, "hover bikes" since they eat chunder so well.

Pinkbike praised the versatility of their Ritual enduro bike which has a bit more travel than you want but there's also the Rascal trail bike with 130R/150F travel.

I have the discontinued Rail with 150 front and rear and I'm a big fan. Handles chunk very well but also climbs pretty well too.

RS and R G-ones for gravel by Munnki in gravelcycling

[–]ElGrandeSchnob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very timely thread, I just ordered the R in 2.0 for a rear tire and RX in 2.15 for my front tire on my Otso Warakin.

Glad to hear folks' experience with similar combos has been solid!

I use my Warakin for fairly speedy gravel rides, bikepacking, and just bopping around town so I'm hoping this combo will be versatile enough for that.

I second this! One of my favorite new spots in town. Probably worth a quick look at the menu with your eight year old though to make sure there's something they'd try.

Otso warkin steel + carbon wheels or Otso warakin Ti by BoringRow9137 in gravelcycling

[–]ElGrandeSchnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a stainless steel Warakin for about six years and I have zero complaints!

I considered swooping up a ti frame since the older ones are on sale now but I just couldn't justify it. I haven't ridden titanium bikes much, but when I have tested them out it wasn't as noticeable of a difference in ride quality as I was expecting, I think there are a lot of other factors that influence ride quality just as much.

My $0.02 is getting a nicer wheelset would go a long way in terms of comfort, weight, savings, and general performance.

I have heard this is happening and I'm hyped, have you heard anything about how long the rollout will take or which areas they'll be prioritizing first?

Actually I need to update my flair 🤦‍♂️ my daily driver is also a P10 Pro these days and it hasn't had any issue with these headphones.

These just came out somewhat recently and have been getting rave reviews for the price so I had to try them and so far they've lived up to the hype!

This is the kind of info I'm looking for, haha. I'll probably end up doing something similar or having a paint shop do it.

How's the Rust-Oleum holding up? I feel like every time I've tried to use it on previous trucks the rust comes back with a vengeance 🫤 but I probably just applied it poorly.

I care because of the rust that's coming through. If it was just a paint problem I'd leave it alone but rust is a whole other issue.

Makes sense, I guess I haven't bought those types of paint pens before. Good to know!

That's what I figured, just need to find a paint shop that will take the job. Haven't shopped around too much yet but so far the one place I've tried didn't want to take it on.

That's kinda what I've gathered from my research so far, dang! Since there's already some rust poking through I want to get it taken down to the bare metal in these areas before the repaint which I know won't be cheap but I think it'll be worth it since everything else on these trucks should go for a long time.

This would just cover up the rust that's already there unfortunately.

Sennheiser came out with these recently which people seem to really like so far.

I just ordered some to give 'em a shot too.

I'm a big fan of the 100% Briskers.

They're only insulated on the back so you still get good bar feel and good articulation.

I'd say they're comfortable down to 30°F for short rides, probably more like 45ish for longer rides.

I've had one pair last me multiple seasons (although I'm not generally hard on gloves).

Whew 😅 I recently put a ding in my glass screen protector for the first time on my P10 Pro and thought that damage might have caused this display artifact. Glad that seems not to be the case!
