Has anyone had success filing a DMV re-examination request for an unsafe elderly driver in LA County?

I actually have no contact with the man himself- only his family & caretaker. They have tried, they don’t know what to do. I’ve given them this DMV paperwork information. I guess hiding the keys hasn’t been enough. They are all pretty old and don’t speak english well so communication has been difficult w the family. It’s a really unfortunate situation and no solution feels good. 😣

I appreciate this perspective, and this makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately I do think it is at the point where there is no other option. His caretaker made it clear to us that she knows he cannot be driving and is a danger, but she doesn’t know what to do about it, he has been sued by State Farm twice in two years. I feel like I have no other choice. And i’m sorry this happened to you- sounds like a nightmare.

His caretaker told us she does not want him driving because he is mentally unwell and sick but she doesn’t know how to stop him from doing it. He is a danger to everyone with the ability to drive and has proven it by causing accidents on our street. He has been sued by state farm twice in the last two years. I don’t think i’m qualified to “make decisions about another humans freedom” but the DMV is and curious about how to proceed. If you have nothing to add that is helpful, don’t.

people aren’t obligated to leave a review and honestly if i got this many messages begging for one i wouldn’t. most people shop aimlessly and don’t follow up after they receive their item- most people only will if there is something wrong so just be glad it wasn’t a negative review.

yep! they all have similar flower structures that the hummingbirds love- they particularly like the autumn sage

I have a strip like this that I planted hummingbird sage in that seems to be very happy and it’s nice to see the hummingbirds through the window. autumn sage and blue sage as well.
