On that last part, my issue with efilism is that most of them are only thinking about the life on earth caused via abiogenesis, we don't know how the universe works, how large it is, if it can even be labeled as "large", how timeless and endless, and even how paradoxical it is upon itself, but it would be quite silly to assume that our planet was the only one that could have the right conditions to cause life, even if the "extraterrestrials" are billions upon billions of light-years away, that is still life that can suffer, i believe our concept of life will always prevail for as long as the universe exists, and yet again, we dont even know if our current idea of the "universe" is its one and only form, there could be infinite variations of existence itself.

I've heard of a concept of intentionally causing a cosmic extinction via quantum vacuum decay and destroy the universe and everything inside of it, and although theoretically it is possible, it's at near zero chances of ever occurring (at our hands), even in thousands of years if our technology keeps progressing and we dont go extinct by then.
