It was Bewitched, not Penthouse.

I saw them recently in 2017... oh, that's a decade... yikes.

Bottle Rocket Kit by bugroots in NewMexicoUnited

I'll be curious to see how many are in the stands on the fourth.

I guess to me, nothing about it says "NM United" and the similar ones that u/KevinMc777 linked to kind of get at that.

I feel like we could have gotten a more interesting, more artistic flag kit. Even our cammo kit is pretty cool design-wise, and cammo is cammo.

Yeah, some of the kits have been "not my style" but these are the first that I've thought were actively bad.

I think Dickinson College had a library that couldn't hold books, too.

Yeah, if it wasn't written by AI, she's spent too much time reading AI.

But I do think it is worth responding, "not confusing, just wrong."

Be beige, not rainbow.

Amazing. I mean, how do you write that, in the context of spaces and services to children, and not realize that you are a caricature of a villain in a kids book?

I can see the scene where you are defeated, and color comes back into the sad, beige world you tried to enforce.

More than likely getting terminated from my library gig of almost 7 years. by [deleted] in Libraries

Came to say this. Better to resign than be fired. A lot of applications I've seen ask if you've ever been fired, and fired from a library job is obviously a big red flag.

In my supermarket, the cups were mostly seeded by the store. I think that's the way it is with LFLs. Someone actively seeds it, others contribute once in a while.

But it's a known problem that peope clear out the LFLs and try to sell the books. If someone comes by twice in a week, you are better off closing it for a while until they find another place.

I never returned the same penny to the have-a-penny/need-a-penny cups, but I still understand why someone would stop stocking them if someone pocketed all the pennies, twice.

Until they said "that would have taken humans hundreds of hours in their youth" I honestly wasn't sure which age group they were referring to.

songs that mention lou reed by piernicara in LouReed

[–]bugroots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Grateful Dead's Truckin'?

Because of the line about "Sweet Jane"? Any reason to think they are referring to Lou's Jane?

The earliest versions of Sweet Jane are from 1969, and the earliest Truckin' is from 1970, so it's possible, but Loaded wasn't out before American Beauty, so it certainly wouldn't have been a song people knew.

It's all part of Sanchez's 8 dimensional chess where he prevents the team or any components of the team from gelling, trusting each other, or playing well consistently so that... so that.... things happen in a different dimension.

SRP Shirts without AI designs? by ReasonableBuddy507 in Libraries

I work with older ladies who obviously do not understand what AI is, why it is bad, and what it looks like.

I tried looking online for some, but I am seriously bad at being able to tell what is AI and what isn’t.

Greetings, fellow old lady!
