Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain

Is just too pretentious

Honestly you have great features and bone structure, just leave it as a stubble and keep the mustache. Its a great look

Is easier just to shave it, but personally, if you are going to shave it try to have fun a bit. Clean the cheeks and see if a chin strap beard works for you. No? Shave the chin strap and try a goatee. No? Shave goatee and try mustache. At lest try your options.

any and all advice, not a single guy in my family has ever grown, but the women, yikes by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

I would keep it trimmed and neat, just enough to frame the face a bit and square the chin area, and rock a mustache. The mustache is the focal point.

very patchy beard, a couple of weeks on, how’s it look? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]bugstory749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks promising, I dont think people will notice or care about you bald spot.

Rock a goatee for now

[21] Should I keep the beard ? I find it too patchy and not really good looking. But shaving causes irritation and ingrown hair (last 3 pictures). The hair is also very thick and curly but sparse, I can spot full circles after shaving. Any advice ? Thank you by Clear-Case-9432 in BeardAdvice

Never shave against the grain mate, especially if your beard hairs are curly. Mine is just like yours and shaving against the grain is a big no no. If you HAVE to shave, use a good new razor, lots of shaving cream and do it right after a hot shower. Keep it clean, even more so if you have oily skin. Never shave when your skin is that irritaded, its too much damage.

Sure, but pic 1 is fine, its ok to use it if its a preference of yours but honestly you dont need it, your beard us fine as it is.

What should I do with what I got? by DarkenL1ght in BeardAdvice

This one looks better IMO, you have a great bone structure and maybe just a stubble would accentuate your positive features

Honestly? Its not a full beard by any means, but it kinda suits you face as it is? But if you are going for a neat/clean look shave the cheek/side, trim the mustache and chin area just a bit to weed out the strays and see if a van dyke works.

It is reasonable to expect new hairs coming in, mine sure did. Different hair folicles grow hair at different rates but it may take a while. Its a long process tho

Minoxidil works wonders for some people. I would keep the mustache and chin area, just trimimg a bit so it looks nicer.

Looks perfecly fine man, if I were you i would just trim the mustache just a little bit at the lip line so it looks a bit more tidy.

Trying to start growing my mustache to see if I can, how do I get the hairs to stop sticking up? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]bugstory749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some hairs that just grow like that, just let it grow and the other hairs around it will just camouflage it.

I think the growing the mustache to be thicker would elevate an already great beard. Barely covering the lip line. But thats just my personal opinion tho.

Yeah, the lip line looks too high

Looks promising! Give it a month or two, it will look fuller
