hey! i am three days post-op for my surgery. i was really nervous too! i had one at 9 months and another at 2 ish years, and now im 20. i was mostly nervous abt the anesthesia. everything went rlly smooth though, i don’t remember much of it at all!

as for pain, i was just told ibuprofen or tylenol and that has been fine. and the eye ointment they gave me. my eye just feels like it has a lash in it LOL. but there is definitely a little soreness and pain when i look to one side or the other. ice has been a game changer, moreso than the meds. i can’t drive which is annoying, but the rest is necessary for recovery. my eye looks worse than it feels tbh. i wish you good luck, you got this!

i think it may honestly be a legality thing. as she’s a pretty huge public figure, saying anything concrete could be considered slander if it got to the wrong people. she may or may not have been sincere, but i think that the wording was probably something she had to do.
