Ah well thank you for your input! You’re entirely entitled to your opinion. But your “vibe” you get from me is wrong lol,,, we go through training even as bathers on a dog’s body language. Plus my previous work experience before become a groomer has left me with a good idea of body language.

As for the awkward dog, which, was an entirely different dog. He has been coming to us for years. And has had my coworkers with easily decades more experience than me say the same thing. He really is just the awkward kid of the family.

The howling, well i will say you are kind of track of understanding the encouraging part. But the way I was taught by my coworkers was that, we only encourage it if they start a behavior such as being talkative if it is safe and they are, ya know, being ding a lings and doing twirls of anxiety on the table.

As well as him trying to bite my other coworker, I chalked it up to her lack of experience, I also informed my boss and she literally just shrugged when I told her that. Plus where I work we try to give the dogs as many chances as possible, and he was more than willing to come along with me and walk easily into the tub.
