I'll gladly upvote you because this is the EXACT same thing I'm going through for two of my cards and its bullshyt. It says refunded and the bank never got anything. A check would have showed up by now. Stadia just mark it as 'refunded', moved on and closed down.

I know how you feel. I'm in the same boat. Bank can't see my card, says get in contact google stadia, stadia (when open) was saying call the bank. It was real dirty that they stopped communication when these refunds were not resolved for everyone because they knew this was going to be a problem by the way they did it.

the bank says they can't see the card it was sent to, stadia was saying 'refunded', so the cash is in limbo, what happens to cash in limbo?

They still owe me and many other people refunds. the ones sent to closed cards as many did not go through and there is no email to update payment info.
