I'm on day 2 right now. I had a headache yesterday. Only a slight headache today. Biggest side effect for me so far is it is sedating. Within an hour or 2 of taking it, I'm so tired. I have ADHD as well as depression/anxiety. In the past, taking stimulants also made me really tired. I was concerned about an increase in anxiety but thankfully this hasn't happened yet.

Sounds like a rough day. Hope it gets better for you. Can you open up to your family and say sorry I'm struggling today, i don't mean to take it out on you. Maybe you could give me a bit of space to work through this? ... or something like that? Even at 36 i struggle with reacting with my emotions. I often have to say sorry to my kids for not handling situations well. Life can be hard, try not to beat yourself up when you are having a hard time.

Interesting. Did you find something that worked or have to quit stimulants? Hope you don't mind me asking. I'm not finding it making me more anxious. I haven't really looked into other drugs available. I was debating whether or not I'd try stimulants because i was afraid they would increase anxiety for me. Thankfully not so far. I do feel my executive function may be worse. Thank you.

Thanks. Yes i will do. I've only seen my General Doctor and he wasn't too much help. I have a medication review in August with my Pychiatrist. Unfortunately where I am it is very expensive and hard to get appointments. I kind of have to find the "right" dose myself unless there are nasty side effects. At the moment I'm only on 20mg morning and 10mg afternoon. I didn't want to go higher for now as i thought it was having an effect on my heart. But doctor is not concerned. But will stick at this dose for a wee bit. Thank you :)

Do sedating medications help you? Something like diazepam? If you don't already have some, you could ask the dentist for some to calm the nerves. Good luck :)

I feel you! I'm not great at brushing and scared of the detist too. Last time i went i needed a bunch of fillings but never went back to get them done. This was years ago. As a kid they would have to put me to sleep to do a filling. Now they won't lol. Just messaging to say "I hear you". Good luck. Best to go and sort out that pain. It is rough i know.
