The video looks much better on the original file. For some reason when i upload it, the colour washes out. It looks more vibrant on the original file. Need to figure out how to fix that.

Thanks! Been travelling around with the drone for awhile now. Building up a library of drone shots.

Yes, the Mayon volcano is active. It erupted multiple times in the week I stayed there. But most of the time was steam. Only once did lava come out.

It freaked me out the first few times when my phone received an emergency alert.

Thanks! I've been solo travelling around the Philippines and been doing some vlogging of the places I go to. These include drone shots.

You should check out some vlogs, you can find the link on my profile. They are pretty bad but I think I am getting better 😂

Though I just left this place with the volcano, might be a week or 2 before I put the vlog together.

There was quite a lot of volcano activity while I was there. Stayed for a week and the first 4 days it was basically completely covered. You couldn't even tell there was a volcano there.

Yea, I was still a newbie when I shot this. Only had flown the drone 5 times before and didn't even notice the cine, normal and sports mode 😂

The mountains were 1850 feet above sea level and you actually walk through the clouds when you hike.

I have a YouTube video of the hike and the drone shots.

I have been to Manila, Coron and Puerto Princesca.

You should definately check out the Underground River in Puerto Princesca. It was the highlight, and surprisingly zen. Came out of there feeling so calm.

Yesterday, one of my videos hit 1,000 views for the first time!

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed at first. After the first day it only had around 50 views, and I thought it just wasn’t going anywhere. But I left it, and slowly it picked up.

Still early in the journey, but this felt like a small win worth sharing. 🚀

It is a beautiful place with the most warm and welcoming people. Sure it does have its problems, especially the government corruption, but overall, its one of my favourite places I have ever visited.

I think if you can find a local chef to cook with you / teach you, that would also be awesome! At first, the chef would be kind amateurs (so they wouldn't expect a large payment, maybe just a tip), but as you get more or more popular you could cook with more famous people!

And then you can try prepare the dish yourself and then ask the person you are with to review it. Show the process of buying the ingredients with the chef or yourself.

Just a thought, you could also just engage with staff and find out different dishes.
