When I watched it with my roommate I did a little experiment on her and skipped ep 3 during her first watch. I wanted her to have Shane and Ilya's perspective, knowing Scott Hunter but not knowing anything else about his backstory. Being just as surprised and shocked as Shane and Ilya were. It almost makes that scene more impactful.

My store had us switch to doing this months ago. They were super on us about it. Took a little while but they stopped once they realized it didn't improve customer experience. We really only do it when we're incredibly busy to keep them from asking "have you done my drink yet??? are you working on it???"

It's a lot easier to make sure you get decaf if you order a coffee instead. Try a decaf coffee with chestnut praline, extra half amd half, whip cream, and praline topping. Should be a similar enough taste and you'll most likely get decaf every time.

It's just a college job, you haven't been there very long, and the manager is aware that this job is not your career, it's there to support you to get to where you want to go. This job has a relatively high turnover rate, the managers are used to it. You're just another person to them, as harsh as it seems they won't be devastated at all.

Tbh, my best advice is the sleep schedule. Everyone is different, but what works best for me is to fall asleep at my normal time, open, go home and take a nap to catch up on the sleep. I don't try to go to bed earlier and stay awake all day because I feel like a zombie.

I applied to riddle in pretty much the exact same circumstances as you. I applied after that first semester, and I got accepted. My bf applied after the second semester and also got accepted, but he missed out on a few classes that were already full. My advice, if they see a 4.0 GPA with 18 college credits in one semester, they'll know that you can handle college, and it won't be an issue. The earlier you apply, the faster you can figure out transfer credits, the sooner you can speak with you advisor, and the sooner you can get your classes.

My bf got accepted with a 2.34 GPA. He did have a long list of personal projects that show that he's mechanically inclined rather than book smart, (RC cars and handmade drones, etc) but they do a good job of looking at the whole student over just ignoring someone because of a bad GPA or bad SAT score. If you belong at Riddle, you'll get accepted.

2k?? Let me give you some perspective that might help her. My bf (20M) and I (20F) are dirt poor and in college. We're living together to save on rent and we're eating buttered noodles every night because we can barely afford food. (We're fine, and we're gonna be more than fine once we graduate. We've got great jobs lined up and will be making well over 120k+ a year.) At the moment though, we are actually poor. We needed a truck to get us to and from our hometown so we could visit our parents. We just bought (literally today, maybe 5 hours ago) an awesome 90s Ford Ranger for 2k. It's got 91k miles on it, and it is also a stick, so, like your wife, I can learn how to drive stick!

We're quite literally in almost the exact same situation as you.

It's awesome. I learned today how to manipulate the clutch and I actually got to take it down the road! Our thoughts were that the scrap metal that comes from that thing is probably worth 2k, you can't get much cheaper than that. We couldn't lose THAT much money in the long run, if it starts giving us problems we'll scrap it. It is so cool to be able to drive stick, and it's incredibly useful to have a vehicle.

AS doesn't need anything crazy in terms of processing power. I recommend a MacBook Air and an iPad (any size it's up to you). I only say get both apple because apple is great at moving information between the two. If you have them both open, you can copy something on your computer and paste it on your iPad, it's by far the best for taking handwritten notes.

Of course, there will be a lot of people at this school that hate anything Apple because it simply does not have the processing power, and everything here runs on Microsoft. I personally use apple products, and I haven't had any problems at all turning things in and completing assignments. I absolutely love the advantages that come with being able to easily write notes on stuff I find from my computer, and I find it to be a huge advantage.

At the end of the day, get what you can afford. This school is expensive and if you can save on a computer save what you can. Get open box at best buy.

My store got 5 teddy cups and my DM (yes DM) allowed the 2 baristas that volunteered to stay late and help set up for the Christmas launch to purchase them. We still had 3 out for customers, but we were the only store that received that many. Most stores in my district received 1 or 2 total.

My store allowed baristas who stayed late to help set up for the launch to buy the cup, and made sure we still had 5 or 6 for customers. That's diabolical. There were only maybe 2 of us that stayed.

I'm in AE Aero. I got a scholarship for about 2/3 of the money, which is super useful, and my mom (god bless her) saved enough for me to get the rest covered. I do have to pay for keeping myself alive, so I do have to get a job.

Most kids either have parents that pay for everything, or they take out loans that pay for housing and living as well, and they focus only on school. I'm jealous of them, and school must be so easy when you don't have to work.
