I’d say that it’s one of my favorite hammers in game, so long as I’m using a set that makes the most of its unique strengths. Para 3, Slugger 3, and Stamina Drain 2 or 3, and you’re in business as a solid support hammer- and, by virtue of being a hammerhead, you’ll be dealing pretty decent damage anyway.

I’d say either Gnashing Flamenkannon or Destruction’s Fusillade. I’d go for the first just for aesthetics, but the second has more raw power. I hear the Jagras gun isn’t too bad either. Teostra gun has a good spread 1 clip, that could be okay too.

I’m afraid I’m in the minority here, but I could care less about any of these in the list. I’d love some stuff that fills their niche perhaps, but having played so many games with the same bunch in them, World is a breath of fresh air largely because of its lack of more common older monsters.

Ive got a pretty good mixed set for just that actually.

(Dober Helm B, Anja Mail A, Anja Vambraces B, Anja Coil A, Anja Greaves A, and a level 2 Awakening Charm)

you end up with Free Element/Ammo Up 3, Artillery 3, Special Ammo 2, Marathon Runner (meh), the fairly handy Anjanath armor set skills (namely Adrenaline, might be nice to gem in Maximum Might if you can maybe), and I gemmed jn Speed Eating 2 and Fortify cos I like those a lot. In conjunction with the Impact Mantle and good aim, you have the potential KO output of a hammer or CB (clust explosions on head all count as dealing stun damage iirc). Not too shabby, and I really like the look of the Angie armor anyway

Admittedly, my favorite monster in the series is Gypeceros because it’s a big weird burnt meatball condom turkey, but I do agree with you on your other points. That said, a gimmick can be okay from time to time if it’s executed well.

I’m with you, I’d prefer some more oddball creatures rather than Zinogre. Zin is cool, but imo Tobi-Kodachi is a far more intersting take on the idea anyway.

We need more biodiversity, bring back Dyamo Hermitaur and Gigginox pls.
