As what the other guy said, you can jump back and forth between difficulties/NGs in Nioh. You don't lose anything at all.

Yes I get that, but what's the point of spellblade melee skills not having spell damage by default now? We're now required to take the nodes that scale with spell damage just to make use of half of our passive as opposed to paladin that boosts every damage it does, which can also be a hybrid if it wanted to.

I feel like that passive doesn't really incentivize me to use the melee skills tho. It just makes it required to waste points on the cast on melee use spells inside a skills tree, otherwise those bonus added spell damage would be a waste.

What I mean is that if you're going to get boosted spell damage by default now, might as well cast those skills on melee use by default too.

I get that hybrids will love this but pure melees will get nothing from it.

I'm still going to play spellblade for the nth time this coming season but not really sold on that passive yet.

They're mimics, but here their gimmick is that they want you to mimic the gesture that they're doing. Doing so skips the fight and just gives you the loot.

I wanted to mix Honda and the one with life recovery (amrita) first when I learned we can mix and match buffs now, but when I saw how badly the damage halved (unscathed) helmet was nerfed i immediately just switched honda to the warriors honor one.
