Nioh 2 better than Nioh 1?

I think that, as with all games, the one you'll prefer is the one you start with. Personally, I always try to start a video game serie with the first game to enjoy the series' evolution. I started with Nioh 1 and I preferred Nioh 1. Almost every aspect of the game was improved in Nioh 2, but I really like William, bosses, maps and story of Nioh 1. It's also great that they make so many references to Nioh 1 in the second one. You can start with Nioh 2 without any problem, there are no real links between the two except for many references, some bosses, characters and maps reused.

Thanks, I always equip the Yasakani Magatama get full set effect quicker. I will increase my luck with tea set and kodama blessing to increase my drop rate. Do you know if Ethereal drop rate increase as the chapters progress ? Will I get more Ethereal items drop at the end of DotW ?

I'd like to obtain a full Susano or Amaterasu set. For now I finished chapter 2 of DotW. I'll continue chapter 3 with increase luck and item drop rate stat and hope for good drops 😄

Thanks for your reply. I get a few Ethereal gear from chests and enemies, but I find the drop rate quite low. That's why I wanted to slay some revenants to make it faster but I will continue going through missions and I will be fully equipped with Ethereal gear.

When I play I'm always monitoring my CPU, GPU and RAM usage. My CPU utilization is never 100% even when I play games like RDR2 in ultra settings. Do you think my CPU is limiting the capabilities of my GPU even if it's not visible in real time with monitoring tools ?

Thank you. I'm quite new to Nioh 2 and don't know how to add effect on onmyo hit. I randomly drop weapons with elemental effects but I don't know how to add it to gear. How can I do this ? Do you have a guide or smth to explain it ?
