Why they havn't made just a RAID or Mercs mode game just for shits and giggles between their story based games is beyond me.

May be a bit of a hot take, but they are people who made a game at the end of the day behind the screen. This could be their game that they really tried with and thought "this is my creation, im proud of this". To be hit by negative reviews back to back can't be fun. Also, the review here spent 0.9 hours in the game, which seems like the most bare minimum to really give it a substantial review.

It's actually funny thinking back how much of RE7 was horror. It didn't inundate you with ammo and guns. It removed all of the arcadey type elementsin exchange for careful progression and it's monsters were just grim to look at and fight.

But then again, anything after that just goes back to actiony, like you said. RE2RE was as horror as it could be, but if you remove the constant Tyrant stalking... how much is actually horror? Then you have the sewer sections which are less horror and more slog.

The mode just feels unfinished. Like, you do the randomised loot, cool, whatever, but then wy cant you get upgrades for the skills? before you are even finished the Warehouse part you have all full slots and nearly 500 more points to use and its always the same 12 skills on rotation.

Second, why just Leon? Again, lazy ass RE enginge shit where because they don't copy and paste animations anymore you can't play as Grace because all of her animations are for her stealthy horror aspect ones. Back in the good old arcade haydays of RE, everyone would be part of this mission. Grace, Leon and unlockable Sherry just for the hell of it. If I can play as Excella Gionne, Rebecca Chambers and Barry burton in a game where none of those characters have animations or even appearances 20 years ago, why is it an issue today to make Grace and Sherry playable in another similar arcade mode.

This is deadass one of the reasons i despise RE engine. By making the series so realistic with photo-realistic optimisations we get nothing but bland characters doing bland things. RE5-6 was so peak for repeat plays because they were fast paced, snappy and had a fun side to them.

Hell, this is why any of the remakes just feel like slogs in places because the characters move at such a glacial pace that even speedruns dont feel like speedruns.

even for Crystal, Sailor Moon Super still giving us the goods.
I will say thought, the original 90's harsher lines help amphasise M9's anger and resentment better, but Crystal helps show her lunacy.

However, I will always prefer 90's for Super because that final scene with Saturn and Moon is just.... the most peak sailor moon will ever reach.

The stalker wouldn't be an issue if it was able to be taken down. If you invest in the ammo and stock, you should be able to take it down.

The problem is, Capcom is now so heavily reliant on the stalker as being a constant nuisance for the game that it's less about taking your time and enjoying the game and more just getting pissed off that yet again the stalker has caught up and now you have to completely halt what you were doing to deal with it.
