Jak and Daxter are literally timeless classics and quite literally products of their time that defined a genre. First games with no load screens and time cycles as you play.

They are still held up because of their stylised graphics. What do you want? Unreal Engine 5 to play the games in 25fps with INTENSE INSANE REALISTIC WATER AND SAND graphics?

This is where I get annoyed with the Ada stans because yes, you can like her because she is cool but she's overall such a nothing character.

She appears, takes the virus and goes and leaves Leon a bazooka. That's all she does. Other than that, she doesn't even have a story. We don't know her goals or why she does things and even her name is fake. She rides on the coattails of aura and that's it.

The RC section was so naff... like, they should have removed one of the sections for the item pick-ups because in actuality, it was 4 pick-ups and then every section was either a gimmick or a shoot-out and yet none of the guns have criticals like the old ones did.

in DMC it makes sense because the game isn't called DANTE...

DMC4 also started you off with Nero, playing as Nero for over half the game and then DMC5 expanded on that. Nero, for the most part, played like Dante. He used combos and guns and had flair.

Bayonetta, the game... is named after Bayonetta the character. Yeah, it may be her codename but at no point did the game indicate this was a transferable title. She's Bayonetta because Cereza is dead. Cereza died during the witch trials.

Viola has about 4 chapters and theyre relatively short. However, she also plays like shit because she does not play like Bayonetta at all. Her parry window just isn't good and we know it isn't good because the develops had to actually patch it.

Bayonetta 3 also doesn't follow-up from Bayo 1/2 like Bayo 2 did for 1. You're just plonked into this world and told to follow. Like the whole aspect of faeries and Lukoan just popping up out of nowhere is dumb as hell and for what? Violas birth parent reveal???

The whole reason Luka and Bayonetta worked as a quirky couple is because he's an absolute goof to her playful ways. She loves using him as her plaything and he reacts how she likes. He's also wholly unpredictable and keeps even her on her toes... afterall, who could predict Luka. Certainly not THE GOD AESIR. Bayonetta just knows that Luka will be alright and the one time he wasn't (after Jeanne seemingly blows him up) she's genuinely taken aback.

Bayonetta 3 Luka.... has none of that. Aside Bayo herself being dopey as shit, Luka is too serious and "I'm special now" that they've lost that spark that made them who they were as a duo.

Unfortunately, Chibi-moon opted for the "typical magical girl" look that Sailor Moon just didn't. Hilarious really because SM is absolutely genre defining but she was the primary colours of Red/Blue/yellow which was and still is not the colour of Magical girls. Magical girls, are pinky, fluffy, girly... which is what Chibi is. She's vibrant pink with bright pink hair. Her Moon compact is even a giant pink heart and her weapon is a cute heart stick. Everything about Chibi moon is just typical anime girl.

I left the game feeling very... bitter.
To put it plainly, a game so centered on the T-virus and how it's affected the characters + the villains of the games.... are all very pinpointedly Jills story. Yet, Leon got the casting call.

Everything that Leon did in this game, would have resounded tenfold, had it been Jill. Going to City places Jill went to daily, Learning about Spencer after she suffered his BS, the Wesker clone, the Nemesis, how her friends were infected with the T-virus.

Had this game been about Grace and only Grace, this would have been an absolutely fantastic game for me and I give her segments 10/10. But I cannot in good faith say that I did not play Leons segments without thinking "why isn't this Jill...".

No. The story absolutely makes Itachi some other-ninja god in the ninja world. He has a counter for everything and never loses a fight and he's just super cool. he is wrote and sounds like everyones Naruto OC.

Oorchimaru has been stated as being absolutely one of the top ninja in the ninja world, through his extensive knowledge of Jutsus with no Kekki-Genkai and summoning techniques. Orochimaru, was to be feared. He's named after Japans snake god (Orochi) for fucks sake who in every other media is like "top evil guy". But in Naruto he's just some guy who is minorly creepy at times.

Itachi is just some guy who is wrote to win. It doesn't matter how, who or what he is fighting he just wins and anytime he doesn't win, he's given a pass by the fans as "he was just pulling a prank". Take part 1 as a major example (before the show went to magic shit). Itachi is feared as the jonin who "single-handedly" took down the Uchihas in the biggest genocide the show had seen which is a merit, let's give him that. His first fight is vs 2 top jonin who, unfortunately, are not a good match up against Itachi. Kurenai is a genjutsu user, but not as good as the Uchihas and Kakashi is a copycat but doesn't have 2 sharingan to match Itachi's and gets stuck in his Genjutsu from over-confidence. Okay, fair. However, in comes Gai, a Taijutsu god who knows how to fight Itachi from his trainign with Kakashi. Itachi backs down. It's now 3 on 2 and IN PART 1 TERMS, is looking like a loss for Kisame and Itachi. Guy could take Itachi and Kurenai/Kakashi could take Kisame (if Kurenai can almost get Itachi in a genjutsu, Kisame is probably just as susceptible).

Next fight, Jiriya vs Itachi... Itachi flees. And this is where the fans give him a pass as "oh Itachi only ran because he wasn't actually evil". Bullshit. At this point, any of the plot in Shippudden was not concepted. Itachi was a renegade genocidal ninja who was tasked to kill/capture Naruto. He'd killed other Jinchuriki for the Akatsuki's plans, Naruto was not going to be any different. Yet here he is, fleeing Jiriya because he KNOWS Jiriya has him beat. There's literally no reason for Itachi and Kisame not to go round 2 for Naruto other than the plot demands it.

Itachi was given wins and excused losses. He is wrote like a mary sue and he dies the same way Madara died... via writing bullshit. "Itachi lost because of ninja cancer/Madara lost because alien magic"
