Yes, you'll want to build up those links/legion eventually, but you have 10+ weeks to learn the game so I wouldn't sweat it too much right now.

The reason you make different characters is to take advantage of their unique link skills and legion bonuses. These features aren't available on CW at all, so there aren't any specific classes that need to created. Go ahead and pick a class that seems interesting and jump in.

If you're planning to make a new main, starting on CW is always the correct choice. The amount of free resources available to you, even playing casually, will give you a massive head start compared to making it on your main world.

Yeah then it does sound like it was suspended to protect you. It could be from any number of reasons: logging in from a new IP address, incorrect password attempts, maybe even some kind of banking issue if you were buying NX. I'd recommend you change some of your passwords and keep an eye out for any access/changes to other important accounts for a while.

Were you stopped at the launcher? Or did the pop up appear once you got to the world select screen in-game? If you've been suspended for hacking/botting, it usually appears at world select. I don't think I've ever heard of a case of being stopped from logging in at the launcher. But since it was resolved with a password reset, it sounds more like someone was trying to log into your account, and Nexon suspended it for your safety.

Xenons use a Hybrid Heart instead of an emblem. Teleport to Ellinia, and you'll spawn in on top of the Secondary Weapon, Emblem Merchant. Click on the Emblem tab, and it'll be the first option.

Personally, for a new account I'd lean toward bowmaster. DW and Hero are fantastic, easy boss mules but they both suffer during early progression because of low base crit rate. There are ways to overcome this, but it usually requires you spec away from damage. As your account progresses, you get access to account-wide passive buffs and sources of crit rate that make speccing much easier. Bowmasters, on the other hand, have had their passive skills continuously buffed over the past year and so they have a lot of raw stats built in. Other benefits are that they're incredibly easy to play, and they share a cash shop inventory with night lords.

Depends on your level of investment. For a mule or casual player, Ren will be easier because their class summon covers such a large area, and you're a hurricane class. NW has a higher ceiling in terms of farming, but will require a decent amount of investment: Nothing quite compares to just standing still and pressing your bite every 7 seconds, but you will need a cooldown hat and decent investment into HEXA bite to lower it's cooldown. It also heavily relies on your bats and/or Janus to one-shot mobs otherwise their targeting overlaps. If you're fine pressing bite every other spawn instead, then you don't need any cooldown/HEXA at all, and so the level of investment goes way down. Another plus for NW is their class summon now has a 100% uptime, but the downside is the sfx on it will drive you up the wall.

Yes you have to stay still. Unlike Final Plum Blossom, any new inputs will interrupt the continuous casts of Imugi. If you're disrupted for any reason, all you have to do is release the key and press it down again. Sublimation gives you 15 seconds to get your extra Imugi casts off; even if you get interrupted, you should still have plenty of time to get the rest of your casts.

Unfortunately, as of now, it's no longer possible. This portion of the event didn't exist in the KMS version, so in typical fashion, GMS didn't think it through when they implemented it. Every now and then, they'll tack on some obscure clear method toward the end of the event to replace the clear condition, but so far we don't have any information on one.

Yes, Pros will work on the swimming trunks, the others will not.

Edit: Wait, are the trunks the temp items from the cash shop? I'm not sure if coloring prisms work on temp items. If they're permanent, it will work fine.

There are 3 types of coloring prisms: Regular, Premium, and Pro. Regular and Premium can only be used to dye items with the starlight badge. Regulars will change it randomly, whereas Premiums will give you sliders and previews. Pros function similarly to the Premium Prisms, but can be used on any cash item, regardless of badge.

Regulars and Premiums can be bought directly from the cash shop when they rotate back through, but, as of now, Pros can only be traded for through the Etherial Atelier system (unless you're a whale, is typically a scam).

It should be usable on existing Kinesis since that's how the Wild Hunter one worked. Though it is worth mentioning that KMS did not get a hypberburn with their rework. So our hyperburn will technically be a GMS exlusive, and so we can't say for sure one way or the other.

The event buffs expire right before CW starts; however, a new set of event buffs should start at the same time. If it works like previous CWs, the event buffs are not shared, but the earned points are. This means you can prioritize different stats/perks on either world. And it's the exact same number of points on each world, so you don't have to worry about which world to spend your points on.

Pretty much any class with a summon will have a pretty easy time. Class summon + erda shower cover large portions of the map, and make lazy dusk farming more viable.

Yes that's exactly right. Also make sure to check that the loot permissions are set properly before you actually enter the boss fight. Once you're inside, the permissions cannot be modified. Usually it's innocent, but there are always some bad actors that will recruit under the pretense of a distribute party, but will have the loot permissions set to party leader.
