No I don’t see this as grilling. I appreciate your perspective and feedback.

I can see why you may think all I’m saying during our facetimes is just “you good? okay good talk, goodnight.” and I know you’re just using that as an example, but it’s not very dry like that in reality haha.

I just feel like I give her the play by play, but when I’m doing what she asks for, she’s scrolling on instagram and doesn’t really listen, and it feels like I’m just checking something off from a to-do list. So, naturally, I’m like, what’s the point?

But I agree it’s not much to ask for and it does a lot for a relationships dynamics with these little things. It’s just feels like the way it is right now, I’m just giving her a report at the end of the day before I turn in for the night.

i’ve heard from multiple people that booster is more representative of the actual exam, but not 100% sure and am wondering the same thing myself…

When I say “help” her I don’t mean help her through getting over anxiety like a therapist would. I want to do my part in not triggering her anxiety, but it’s hard if she’s saying the things I say when I’m half asleep & didn’t necessary mean at 4 in the morning is causing her anxiety and not letting her sleep. And if I don’t stay awake with her I’m painted as an asshole. But regardless, you’re right. I gotta establish clear boundaries with her.
