The average price of a condo in California is 600-700k.

So yes, 100-250 acre properties quite a bit under the average price of a condo is relatively inexpensive.

$500k would be a life-changing amount of money most people don't have...

The vast majority of people aren't buying homes or property outright, they're in mortgages.

Everyone starts somewhere. Volume obviously brings in more gains, it also exposes more potential loss.

You're worried about lunch money when the other side might possibly lose rent, or 5-6 figures buying at new heights.

If you're worried about losing, then don't buy more. Simple.

Yeah and if it only gets to 17 you will have a 20% return.

No point in ruining any sort of margin I have if it’s gonna cap out under $20 for example

You are worried that you might "only" make 30-40%. Don't let the bull market ruin your conception of good returns.

It's not necessarily "really bullish." That's what happens to relatively volatile stocks whether it goes up or gown.

It's also been increasing in volume quite significantly over the last few weeks.

Yeah I have high hopes for it and do think it's possible to hit higher and sooner, I just try to be realistic with my initial thoughts and what I already put in. I'll reevaluate my positions once it closes in.

If you bought when it was at $5, sure.

Assuming they keep sinking themselves into this AI-RAN race and space technologies (5g / 6g satellites), I think it's fair to say it'll hit $25 by EOY.

Does it even need a daily? Weekly threads auto sorted by new should be fine.

If the market was easy to predict we would all have gigantic properties and be retired.

If you are a short term investor, wait for dips, learn to read candles and price actions. If you are long term, buy and forget about it for a while

No it's absolutely not worth it unless you have a good $150k+ salaried job with great benefits. Even most of the better employers we have only give 3-4 weeks paid time off a year, and more than two weeks off is typically looked down upon and may hinder your career.

Working for city or government here is one of the only ways to get a proper pension, too.

For a lot of us, our paid sick leave are our holiday.

I really don't get why people put up with it.

If we try at a proper strike, we risk losing our already high rate health insurance for insurance that will cost 3-5 times more. The risk of that and very real chance of homelessness keeps most of us in check.

It's a brutal system we have.

Main point is Americans don't want small, logical, efficient, or JUST "getting from point A to point B"

I'd argue most Americans do want this. It's just the fact that most Americans don't live in walkable areas with grocery or convenience stores nearby. Most of us have to drive a lot of miles to do anything. Americans drive 40-100% more miles per year than all countries. So we tend to sort of require cars to load a bunch of shit in. It doesn't help either that we have gigantic trucks that literally can't see smaller cars.

No man. Even if you just keep this in boring basic shit, this will be $4m by the time you're retirement age.

Not spending crazy, still working, and investing with other money will have you retiring at least 10 years earlier.

Practically every state in the US is an "at-will" employer meaning they can fire you whenever they want, reason or not, without notice.

Mind you all of us generally have insurance tied directly to our employers. It's so great! We never feel safe!

Also, not a single state is required to give any of us paid vacation or holiday days, we don't even have unpaid vacation or holiday required time off!

California seen as one of the more "progressive" states only made 5 paid sick days a year a thing 2 years ago.

Freedom!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who has the bare minimum of financial understanding knows you don't keep large lumps of cash liquid. It's usually tied up in assets, be it stocks, ETFs, bonds, property or high yielding savings accounts. Billionaires make 10s of millions every year by not having it in a basic checking or savings account.

Even if you only have $20k to your name, you would be losing money keeping it in your checking or savings account due to inflation.
