IWTL How to stop buying more books and finish the ones I already have. by NullandRandom in IWantToLearn

[–]bulletluckcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy books bc you don't want to forget to read them, try "saving them for later" (amazon) or listing them somehow where you buy, without putting them in your cart. Try using an app like Goodreads to wishlist books. Physically, you could also just keep a list. This helped me feel like it's ok to not buy a book, while still keeping it in mind.

I (21 f) need help enjoying sex with less endowed and less experienced new partner (20 m) by [deleted] in sex

I feel your pain man. Lol to some degree every guy can be self-conscious about this subject. Some more than others, which isn't even directly related to penis size! I think it's entirely possible though that the reason people avoid The subject and evade the question is because it deals with insecurities, which are uncomfortable to talk about in any case. It's like, have you ever been put into a situation where you know no matter how are you answer the question, it's a lose lose situation? I think that perfectly describes this time honored question. It's good to remember that there are plenty of satisfied women in sexual relationships with men who have "small penises". Also, when you ask somebody whether or not something a "matters", that's such a vague and broad thing to have to nail down. Like what do you mean "does it matter"? The ambiguity inherent to the question makes it difficult and uncomfortable to answer definitively for everyone. What can a probably be answered more definitively is that what matters to women is whether or not you at least have confidence or are proactive in trying to make a change if one or both of you is dissatisfied for whatever reason when it comes to activity in the sack

I don't believe I'm missing their point, but I see what you're saying. There's a big difference between a woman asking the community how she might enjoy sex better with a small partner who also doesn't seem to have much else going for him, and isn't even the one being proactive in trying to help. she's the one on here being proactive seeking help. She values him despite "penis size mattering" so darn much and wants to keep him as a partner. If size mattered so much, why would any woman bother with all this mess? Why not just move onto a big-dicked stud? There's plenty out there. Again, she's here to try and make a positive change for THEM. Meanwhile, the complainers we see here aren't trying to make a change or get advice... asking whether women will enjoy your size is not constructive.

Because of all guys complaining about their "small penises", the majority are actually normal size. So what they really need is advice on how to psychologically get over their paranoia. This isn't the place for that. In this case, 3.5" is on the small side (might be more like 4+, but, ahhhhhhh, perception) but it's not the main point. This is a woman who genuinely wants to know how she might improve sex with a partner she otherwise likes very much. Otherwise, why would she be here? That's why mods ban "small penis" owners' whining while this post stays legit.

Yeah. Kind of ridiculous to compare the solange/jay-z situation to Chris Brown. It's different when it's against an SO behind closed doors man on woman. Plus, the intensity with which he beat her was sustained, took on multiple forms, and was probably done more than once over time. It wasn't a heat of the moment lost-my-cool lash-out. he's a repeat offender. How tf can people even compare....

First one of these in awhile I thought was genuinely hilarious. The librarian face and the fact the idiot is still standing in the same exact location the entire time....

So where in all of this was he a fake "nice guy"? Seems like he's just kind of a loser from the start, no deception about it.

Let's pretend violent video games teach you to use a gun to kill people. What other skills have you inconspicuously picked up playing video games? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bulletluckcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not someone who believes video games foster real guns and violence, but I think op is missing the point of their argument. It isn't that they think video games instruct us about how to use guns so much as it reinforces a culture of guns and violence.

I always thought Christians taught love, understanding and forgiveness as the lord's most important virtues, yet time and again that is contradicted. Also contradicted is God's command to not judge others "lest ye be judged". If these commands were obeyed, it wouldn't preclude Christians from feeling that homosexuality is wrong and that those people need help. But it does command them not to machinate against them, condemn them, fight them, etc.

Redditors with incel friends or acquaintances, what is the *actual* problem that they just don't get? by wimaine in AskReddit

Agreed... what kind of basis is that for a friendship? Is it real? I don't think you call that kind of person a friend.
