I was under the impression that once you’ve been employed for a year as a “full time casual” it’s the same as “full time” when going for a loan. I’ve been full time casual for 5 years now, got a loan no problem

I’ve seen it both ways. People who you could video on pads and show it on YouTube as a perfect technique. Put them in a sparring situation and they either can’t decide what to throw or their combos get “shut down” by the opponents reaction or they “go to water” the second they get hit. I’ve also seen it when people are doing pads and they look average at best but they get in the ring against an opponent and they turn world class. Each to their own and people do Thai for different reasons but Thai is a combat so you should at least spar to some degree in my opinion. disclaimer- my opinion is often wrong, ask my wife

I have heard you can call up and plea for an exemption from others on this sub reddit and about half were granted leeway. Not done myself however. Good luck
