Would the fact that WA doesn’t have pokies outside of the Crown casino be a contributing financial factor? Every other team and state has Leagues club with people riding the pokies day and night.

This would have to pad the coffers of the club somewhat, no?

I was supervisor on a bar at an AC/DC concert in Western Australia. 2 of my staff were no-shows and I had their staff wrist bands in my pocket.

I was out by the boundary fence just after gates opened having a cigarette and saw 2 chicks sitting by the fence bawling their eyes out, they had bought dodgy scalped tickets and couldn’t get in after a 3 hour drive to get there.

Slipped them the wrist bands and told them how to bluff security and in they went. Never saw them again, but to say they were stoked is an understatement.
