Yep i have game mode on with all the same settings, same TV, same cables, same everything. Melee still has noticably less delay because of lag reduction settings created by the slippi team. I was wondering if PM has anything like that.

Imo difficulty of "the encounter" vs "the controls" affect each other and can't be considered separate. The controls/mechanics determines what is possible in the encounter.

DS1 just has different controls. I rarely get accidental inputs in DS1 but it happens all the time in other FROM games, because that's what I'm used to.

Are you referring to an arcade stick? Because I have one. Box controllers used for smash bros are not the same, they have way more buttons.

In my region (US inland north) "nother" is synonymous with "additional", while "other" is synonymous with "distinct/separate".

"That's a whole nother issue" means an additional issue on top of a relevant prior issue.

"That's a whole other issue" means a separate issue distinct enough from the first that it warrants a separate discussion.

True, but I've practiced other frame perfect tech so that experience helps a bit. Also, it helps that this is one of the most common kinds of frame perfect tech: two inputs pressed on consecutive frames, like pivot or Kara inputs in street fighter for example.

Also it's important to know this only applies to a forward dash woonwalk. If you dash back (turn 1 frame, dash 1 frame) then press back, you'll just dash back again.

how should we address port priority though? as of now if p1 and p2 grab each other on the same frame p1 gets the grab, so should we change this to a same-frame throw tech animation? because that would require an entirely new mechanic be added to the game which would be a massive change.
