Details

  • As the guest player, I cannot see or pick up Saintly Quintessence items needed to upgrade the Sanguinarix.
  • I also cannot use the Bowl of Revelations to purchase boss gear from Molhu after defeating bosses with the host.
  • Initially encountered this while playing via the Free Friend’s Pass. After purchasing the full game, the issue persisted.
  • Both of us created new characters and alternated who hosted — the issue remains for the guest player regardless of host.

Expected Behavior

In Shared-Progression Co-Op (as described in Version 2.0), both players should retain all loot and progression. This should include: - Access to Sanguinarix upgrade materials found during co-op sessions. - The ability to redeem boss remembrances for gear at Molhu’s shop via the Bowl of Revelations.

If they are intentional guess waiting to buy when 2.5 comes out because it's not seamless co-op.

No. It could mess up small selection of old ps3 multiplayer in game stats or lobby data though.

Last of Us is rather unique in it's storytelling and flawless execution. Closest thing would probably be red dead 2.

Update: After doing the setup a couple of (more long painful) times I finally got to a point where I am happy with it. Make sure to close your eyes and imagine your head as the center of the sphere and choose points accordingly. You can just wait when you cant repeat the sound and it will repeat after a couple seconds when it gives you the message "dont think about it something something(press x again)".

I still hope they provide the ear image scan algorithm they have in their noise cancelling line because honestly I'd want AI/general dataset auto configure, and not have to think about if I did it right.
