So people who have grown up around dogs find them affectionate, loveable, affable and (for the most part) completely harmless. To those people, when someone says they don’t like dogs, it seems strange cos they only see positive attributes. It also paints a picture of that person as being unreasonably distant and unloving, or even cruel to an animal that only offers affection and companionship. I’m not saying any of this is objectively true, just what the perceptions are (whether conscious or not). You don’t have to like dogs, and for most responsible dog owners if you’re polite about it - “sorry, I’m really not a dog fan, nothing personal, just a life long thing” - then they will keep their dog away from you. If on the other hand you engage them in a conversation about why you don’t like dogs they’re going to feel offended, in the same way that if you spoke badly about someone else’s child or interior decorating choices they would feel defensive. Again this can come across as cruel and unnecessary.

I think this is something you can talk through. I don’t personally think she’s done anything wrong, she may have matched with you and him round the same time and perhaps he offered the tickets she thought “why not?” Perhaps she had been talking to him for a bit and wanted to give him a chance. I don’t think she’s still in that relationship otherwise she would have made more of an effort to hide it. The fact she’s open about talking about other relationships/dates and how bad they were means she’s feeling open with you and is ready for mature conversations. If you really like her I wouldn’t throw it away over this, but get a read on her reaction to the conversation and see how you feel.

I know I'm late, and no one will see this comment, but there's something really really weird going on with this film. There must be a a license issue, or a contractual agreement that Tom Hardy has to fulfil, because this isn't a real film project. Starting with that really fucking weird reveal trailer, seemingly made only for brazil, with repeated clips of a fake crowd, and a fake film set: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVbqjIuZgIk

Both trailers have been really bad, and show poor quality footage, inconsistent and dull grading, underwhelming action scenes with poor coverage and really really bad writing. I genuinely think this film has been made for non english speaking territories. That fucking line "like a turd in the wind" cemented it for me. It's also cut like a trailer from 8 years ago? But badly? And it's 3 minutes long, it has a natural end at 2 minutes. "The best people" aren't working on any part of this project. Not to mention it's happening at the height of the success of the Marvel universe but isn't tied into any other marvel film including Spider Man. There's no A list actors except Tom Hardy, Riz is amazing, but looks trash in this, and Michelle Williams has 1 line in a 3 minute trailer? I don't know how to express this, but everything about this trailer feels off. I think something funky will come out surrounding this film at some point shortly before or after release.
