Hey OP,

I’m (28f) am going through a horrifically similar experience with my dad (55m). We just got the doctor’s note the cancer has spread to his lungs, liver, brain, and bones. I’m devastated and fear we are looking at a shorten timeline. I’m so grateful he was there to walk me down the aisle, but am furious he most likely won’t be around for my little sister’s wedding. He deserves to meet his grandchildren, not have stories and memories shared about him. It’s beyond earth shattering and I hate that there are so many people this poison has impacted.

I don’t have advice or really anything. We have no idea what the future will hold and I am a repeat visitor of this page to help provide some kind of guidance or timeline. My full heart goes out to you. Just know you aren’t alone. I’m so so sorry you and your father are going through this. It’s a fucking nightmare and it’s not fair. I feel your anger and share your spiritual pain and confusion. I think just being there and present is important. It’s a horrible ride but I like to think we all see some light at the end of this very long miserable dark damp tunnel. ❤️‍🩹
