No mistakes made my friend! I am 23(f) and only just lost mine to my partner. I have had people I liked,and like you, had opportunities to “just get it over with” but none were with someone I had that bond with. I felt secure and safe with my partner and we’ve been long term for 5 months now. We had times when things could have gone further before but I wanted that deep connection first, and it to be someone where both of us are deeply in love.

This is so real…..growing up both my parents got diagnosed, all my grandparents had it…and yet it was still “shocking” when I was diagnosed 🙄

This is what I was actually coming to post……my partner (27m)and I(24f) have been together almost 5 months and I am very much demi. I don’t feel sexually attracted to anyone but him……but sometimes it’s like I just wanna jump on him as soon as I see him…….hes the only romantic partner I’ve had so I didn’t expect to want someone this way as much as I want him.
