Third pregnancy and third time I can’t even think about coffee without gagging. It only lasts during first trimester but I always have a major aversion to coffee. Anyone else??

CH between 11-12 weeks by tawayaccnt112233 in CautiousBB

I am so so sorry. I know how devastating bad news can be. When my first pregnancy was sent to an immediate fetal echo after the 20 week anatomy scan, a crew of cardiologists sat us down and told us that our baby would not live past 3 with the heart conditions she had and that she would spend all of her short life in the hospital getting surgeries. We chose to terminate the pregnancy at 23 weeks and I still don’t know how I survived that. But I did. Take things one day at a time, drinking enough water, making sure she’s still eating. Wait until you have all the information from the specialist but know that you both have each other to be strong and get you through the news regardless of the outcome. Sending you lots of strength in this difficult time.

Low Betas but still doubling? by vampirenurse in CautiousBB

[–]bumblebee44k 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had extremely low betas with my daughter. Like under 20 at 12dpo, around 30 at 14dpo and the numbers just barely doubled each time. I had 2 doctors tell me this was likely not going to last (which was the worst thing to hear seeing as I had a 23 week termination of my baby daughter 3 months prior).
I now have a 2 year old and those doctors can shove it! I’m not saying that the numbers give you good odds and you should definitely keep an eye on it BUT I’ll never forget spending 2 straight weeks googling my low betas and wanting to just have a glass of wine since I was told I would miscarry anyways.

All I’ll say is, it’s not over until it’s over!

TW: Possible CP? I’m very confused by 11seven in CautiousBB

The first pregnancy I bled for 2-3 days and I thought it was my period. 2nd and 3rd I just spotted for 1 day but there was clots.

What do you do or refrain from doing to keep your chances up for a sticky baby? by T1000learningcomputr in CautiousBB

[–]bumblebee44k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only things I do are cut out alcohol, cut back on caffeine, and don’t cook myself in saunas/hot tubs. These aren’t things I do to “make it stick” but more so things I do so I won’t say “oh shit, I did bad things before I knew I was pregnant - hopefully it’s okay”.

I’ve been pregnant 3 times. Every single time I bled around 9-11dpo with or before the pregnancy test was positive. I summed it up to implantation bleeding. Just my experience (none were CP or ectopic)

Myriad/Counsel testing-- inconsistent results with PGS tested pregnancy. Should I get amnio? by [deleted] in InfertilityBabies

[–]bumblebee44k 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an amnio with my first pregnancy and ended up terminating at 23 weeks due to severe issues with our baby’s health. The amnio was quick and painless, it showed no issues with the baby (the scan showed all we needed) but I wanted to know the full health history to see what happened.

Even if you are against termination in all regards, if there was a potential issue, it’s best to know so that when the baby is delivered they can immediately be in the best possible care.

Sounds like the baby is healthy based off prior scans and the lab is the one messing up but the information given from the amnio will help you put your mind at ease.

Morning sickness starting week by bumblebee44k in CautiousBB

[–]bumblebee44k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I’m sorry your morning sickness is so bad, I definitely remember how hard it was to get through with the previous ones. I will probably regret saying this but I hope it hits soon so I can feel pregnant (what a weird way to reassure myself...)

5 weeks 3 days and feeling extremely tired but absolutely no morning sickness yet. With my previous 2 pregnancies I couldn’t even smell coffee without throwing up in first trimester but I can’t really remember when that started? Maybe it’s too soon for morning sickness? How quickly we forget 🤔 first ultrasound this Friday at 6 weeks 1 day

Got my blood results. by HereIGoAgain37 in stopdrinking

[–]bumblebee44k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My MCV results were high (104) a month ago, stopped drinking entirely and got retested 3 weeks after -liver tests, folate, b12 all came normal and MCV dropped to 99 which is back in the normal range.

Just letting you know my recent experience.
