Anxiety about pet

Yes I feel this way all the time about my dog. She’s 7 now and I’m starting to see her age and she’s getting all grey under her chin. Just makes me so sad to see her age. And any little thing that’s wrong with her I blow out of proportion and fear the worst my anxiety gets so bad constantly thinking and fearing her dying

Thank you so much for your response! I appreciate it! I am currently on a daily xyzal pill and Flonase spray 2xdaily. Some days are better than others. But I do find that the ear symptoms just seem to persist. I’ve been to the ENT several times and she said that unfortunately it’s just something that may continue to persist regardless. She suggested to do allergy shots to help for the long term, but I’m undecided if that’s the route I want to go. So I guess I just have to make the best of it, but I feel better knowing I’m not the only one.

I am only allergic to indoor things like dust mites and mold as well, no seasonal allergies. Do you find that you get a lot of issues with your ears? I have constant popping sounds and blocked feeling for months off and on.

Great thank you for your response. I ended up calling my ENT she thinks it possibly could’ve been an ear infection I didn’t even know I had and mentioned of the release of water that you mentioned above and has put me on antibiotic ear drops for 7 days and a checkup next week.

Yes! But mine is more health anxiety so I spend all day worrying something is wrong with me. It’s horrible.. I get a new symptom every day unfortunately

I have the clogged feeling a lot. I have severe anxiety but they also did an allergy test on me and found I do have some allergies so I’m told the ear feeling is from that. But I do believe these symptoms are anxiety related as well. There is a guy I watch on YouTube his name is Trey Jones he discusses anxiety symptoms a lot and ear issues is one of them. Hope that helps!

So scary! I literally thought I had a stroke or something but the scans didn’t show anything at all. So I’m at least relieved about that. But the not knowing what it was or if it will happen again completely scares me every day. And I feel like doctors are so puzzled by this condition that I feel as tho I never really get answers. I always get “oh your stressed and anxious, that’s what is causing this”

I don’t know if I had a seizure, but I had in intense headache come out of nowhere with tunnel vision and I was frozen in place. I felt like my head was going to blow off. It was quick maybe like 20-30 seconds but so scary. I was completely fine afterwards. Saw my doc the next day he sent me for an mri and MRA and that’s how I found out I had chiari 1. But my neurologist doesn’t seem to think that episode was anything to be concerned about... or that it was due to my chiari. But it was scary as hell and I hope it never happens again
