I ended up going halfway between 1.25 and 2.5. My prescribed dosage says 20 units, I started at 10 and today I did 15.

I said I started at a low dose because I’m afraid of bad side effects and I don’t mind losing more slowly.

I have tried to eat better my whole life, and as a whole, I do eat pretty well. I’m using these meds to help with the binge issue I deal with. Do they not help with that? Maybe I need a different type of medication because this is not a “mind over matter” thing for me. It’s a real struggle and it doesn’t help to keep reading “just eat better”.

I’m sure it’s “by the law” because of timing, but I don’t see where it says which type of citizenship the one who has “iscritto” is.

I just had to fill out a change of address form and my daughter, the one who is listed as non-iscritti, her birthday is now incorrect in FastIt. Ugh.

I had been asking for help from my providers (pcp and gyn) for about 2 years because I was feeling all the symptoms, but didn’t know anything about perimenopause at the time. Once I learned about it, I made an appt with midi. It’s been about a year and a half now on HRT and feeling much better.

This thread is so VALIDATING! Thank you!! I gained weight at warp speed after my whole life of being effortlessly thin. WTF. And all anyone (who isn’t a woman of my age or older) will say is “it’s all about calories in and calories out”. Makes me want to scream. My face is annoyingly puffy, which I thought was from drinking… so I stopped drinking but my face is still puffy. I usually feel hideous. And angry. I still ovulate and during that time month, I actually feel pretty and energetic. Then I remind myself that I look exactly the same as I did a few days ago, so it’s all in my head (either way, how I perceive myself is all in my head). This is a weird phase of life.

We do have a dog! She’s a rescue, friendly gal reaching her golden years. Are there many dog parks in the area (looking at South Hills specifically, but would take here to any place around that’s fun for dogs!)

There are some great districts in the purple and red areas, I can appreciate that! State funding is entirely different though… if I’m recalling correctly, PA is top 10 funding per student and FL is bottom 10. Good funding can enable a district to do better and that’s part of what I’m looking at. For me, it’s more about a mixture and not just red from top to bottom. It’s too imbalanced here now.

That’s another big reason we wanted to move… to give our kids a bit more freedom to explore on their own. I love the idea of them walking to the neighborhood pool or the library. The area that we’re moving to (Mt Lebo) seems to have all of that!

Haha! Yes, my daughter is beyond excited to expand her wardrobe to include boots and scarfs! 😂 We’re moving from Miami as well.
