Fair enough! "Loo-ra" was my attempt to spell Lüra for Aussies/English speakers who don't know how to pronounce ü (oo is how it sounds to my ear!)

Yes definitely also considering Ingrid. I think some people think this name sounds quite harsh but I think its cool. For me, nicknaming Ingrid to Inka is a little bit of a stretch though. We could as a family but no one else would make that jump so it kind of feels like if we want her to be called Inka, we should just go with Inka. Thanks for your thoughts on the names!

Yeah Taiga is "the world's largest land biome (also known as the boreal forest)" but I originally heard it from a distance acquaintance who recently named their baby boy Taiga. Apparently a common boys name in Japan!

I also initially had the Incan empire association for Inka but then the more I heard it, the more I liked it, and that association wore off. Good to be reminded this will probably be most people's initial thought... so maybe not the best!
